About Emma

My Story

My name is Emma Frankel, I graduated from The George Washington University in 2017 with a BFA in Interior Architecture and Design. For the past four years I have worked at an interior design firm with a focus on high-end residential design. During my time there I was able to hone my skills solving unique design problems and working with some amazing clients. While I loved my time working as an interior designer I found myself growing frustrated with the overall outdated nature of the industry and wanted to make a change. I started looking more into UX design and it felt like the perfect fit. As I began studying UX I realized how similar it was to interior architecture, and while the final product may be different, the design process follows the same patterns. When I’m not designing I love getting creative in the kitchen, enjoying the outdoors, crocheting or attempting to solve a crossword puzzle.
