About

Below is a sampling of projects I worked on as an interior designer. All projects featured here were completed by Tracy Morris and the Tracy Morris Design team during my time working there.

Kids' Study

This historic DC home had been recently given a total facelift by Cecchi Homes. This space was designed for their teenage kids as a place where they could do homework, hangout with friends, and have sleepovers. I incorporated a comfortable lounge area with a sleeper sofa with a colorful design that could grow with them.

My Role: Created furniture plans, sourced selections, created presentation materials, placed orders and oversaw installation.

Custom Pool

This indoor pool was part of a custom built home in collaboration with Artisan Builders and Harrison Design Architects. The client wanted a greek key design that we opted to custom design the tile for the pool. The design went through many iterations before reaching the final look seen here.

My Role: Created furniture plans, designed custom pool tile and pool layout.

Historic Living Room

This historic Georgetown townhouse was restored to its former glory with the help of Overmyer Architects and Goldsborough Builders. This formal living room is the first impression in the home, the symmetrical design is to echo the style of the home. The accessories added are to provide balance without being perfectly symmetrical.

My Role: Created furniture plans, accessorized space.

Bright Home

This recently built home was designed for a young couple. They wanted a design that was practical and timeless while still feeling fun. To achieve this look I paired a classic neutral base with colorful accents.

My Role: Created furniture plans and presentation materials, sourced for furniture, fabric, and accessories, oversaw installation.

Company Office

The Tracy Morris Design office moved to a larger space after outgrowing out last. We need to rework our existing items to maximize the new space, allowing plenty of space for our large library of materials while still being presentable for client meetings.

My Role: Created floor plans, presentation materials and tile and plumbing fixtures selections.
